Stamped Concrete

Stamped concrete is a great way to liven up concrete around the home and an investment that will pay off every time you step outside. Generally speaking, when pouring new concrete upgrading to stamped concrete is very cost effective. One of the things that seperates our work, is that we only use integral colors. This is a color added to concrete mix and is much more permanent than colors hardeners, which are troweled into the top layer only. A secondary color or antique release is used to create the two color effect. Typically a light or medium integral color is chosen with one darker release color. Combine a light integral color with several release colors for a more weathered rustic look. The effect is stunning. Stamped concrete is always sealed with 2 coats of a urethane sealer and is much easier to clean than regular concrete.

Patterned Concrete Stamps vs Seamless Texture Stamps Patterned concrete stamps are stamps which have a repeating pattern and grout line. They are great for creating brick, stone, and tile patterns. They are typically best suited for outdoors.

Seamless textures are concrete stamps that have no lines just a a seamless texture. These are great for interior floors and outside spaces where a repeating pattern maybe too busy.

All exterior stamped concrete should be sealed every 18 months. Interior stamped concrete floors are sealed then periodically waxed. this can easily be done by the customer or we would be happy to remind you and keep up with it. Since our color is mixed into the concrete it is never worn off whether you keep up with it or not!
